Nigerian singer Terry G has raised concerns over the alleged non-payment by the All Progressives Congress (APC) for his contributions to their campaign.
Terry G, who performed at President Bola Tinubu’s campaign in Jos, Plateau state, during November 2022, disclosed on Tuesday that he is still awaiting payment from the APC.
Expressing his frustration, Terry G emphasized his active involvement in the party’s election campaign and stated, “I’m yet to be paid for my services.”
In a social media post, he asserted, “I’m not the kind of hustler who works without getting paid. I have proof of my contribution; there are videos out there.”
The singer went on to highlight the extensive effort he put into the campaign, mentioning the various states he visited and the toll it took on him physically.
He urged whoever is responsible for the payment to fulfill their obligation, stating, “I did this campaign for daddy. Daddy has paid those who should give us our money. It’s not child’s play.”
Born Gabriel Oche Amanyi, Terry G is renowned for his eccentric dress sense, controversial lyrics, and distinctive identity.
Among his monikers are Akpako Master, Ginjah Master, Hitman, G.zuz, and Terry G.zuz.
The singer has also been honored with several awards for his exceptional talent.
