The encounter took place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), on the eve of the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as the Conference of the Parties (COP28).
In a tweet from his official handle, @officialABAT, President Tinubu hailed the meeting as a pivotal step towards enhancing the relations and partnership between Nigeria and the UK.

The President’s tweet stated, “I had a productive meeting with His Majesty, King Charles III of England, who is also the Head of the Commonwealth, and a passionate climate advocate.
