Junior Pope’s Body Arrives Hometown for Burial

The remains of the late JohnPaul Odonwodo, better known as Junior Pope, have arrived in his hometown of Ukehe in the Igbo-etiti Local Government Area of Enugu State. 

The funeral is currently underway, drawing a large gathering of Nollywood personalities who have come to pay their last respects to their colleague and friend. 

The somber occasion is marked by a funeral mass officiated by Rt Rev Godfrey Onah, the Bishop of Nsukka Catholic Diocese, who led the congregation in prayers and reflections on Junior Pope’s life and legacy.

Junior Pope, a beloved figure in the Nollywood industry, tragically passed away in April. He died in a boating accident on the Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a movie location. 

The news of his untimely death sent shockwaves through the entertainment community, with many expressing their condolences and sharing memories of the late actor.

As the burial proceedings continue, the atmosphere is a blend of sorrow and remembrance, with heartfelt tributes pouring in from colleagues, friends, and family members.
