‘I’m not fake prophet’ – Odumeje

The leader of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, more commonly known as Odumeje, has unequivocally rebuffed widespread allegations of being a counterfeit prophet.

Odumeje firmly disavowed any association with fraudulent abilities or reliance on traditional healers for his spiritual prowess.

These statements come in the wake of a cautionary message from gospel artist Dunsin Oyekan, who urged Christians to be vigilant against the ‘abido shaker’ phenomenon, emphasizing its derogatory implications for the Christian doctrine.

“Videos and posts about ‘Abido Shaker’ and similar topics have been circulating… Believers, our amusement often undermines the sanctity of our faith. We must actively oppose such content! It’s not amusing! The extent of people’s susceptibility might astonish you! #wakeup,” Oyekan remarked.

In response, Odumeje took to TikTok in a viral video to assert that his miraculous deeds are solely attributed to Jesus, affirming his Christlike nature.

“I have no affiliation with counterfeit powers; only Jesus manifests in my life. I have never resorted to seeking empowerment from any source or traditional practitioner. It’s all about Jesus,” Odumeje declared.

Amidst a growing discourse concerning the authenticity of spiritual leaders and the legitimacy of their practices, Odumeje’s assertion serves as a staunch defense against accusations of deceitfulness and charlatanism.
