‘If we can’t change them, we’ll leave,’ Peter Obi addresses Labour Party crisis

“I’m making spirited efforts to change them (LP), but I’m not going to die with them,” Obi asserted, drawing parallels between his efforts to effect change within the party and the biblical admonition to “shake off the dust” when faced with insurmountable obstacles.

“That will not stop what we set out to do,” Obi affirmed. “We will try to change them (LP), if we can’t, we will leave them; we will not die with them.”
