DNA Test Not Integral to Justice for Mohbad – Iyabo Ojo

Iyabo Ojo, a prominent figure in the Nigerian film industry, has firmly stated that a DNA test does not play a role in the pursuit of justice for the late singer, Mohbad.

Amid relentless calls for a paternity test on Mohbad’s son, Liam, the actress shared her perspective during a live session on Instagram, emphasizing her disinterest in uncovering the child’s biological father.

Iyabo Ojo, an active advocate seeking to expose those responsible for the sudden demise of Mohbad, dismissed the relevance of a paternity test in the larger context of seeking justice.

During the Instagram live session, she labeled the paternity test as a substantial distraction from the primary objective of unraveling the mysteries surrounding Mohbad’s untimely death.

“DNA was not part of our justice for Mohbad, so it doesn’t really concern us. But his father came out to say he wants DNA because that was one of the distractions and narratives they brought out, and he wants them to do it since they want to do it,” asserted Iyabo Ojo during the live session, shedding light on the divergence in perspectives regarding the necessity of a DNA test.

Acknowledging the stance of the late singer’s father, James Aloba, Iyabo Ojo pointed out that he insisted on the indispensability of a DNA test and demanded that it be conducted in his presence.

This statement, underscores Aloba’s unwavering determination to ascertain the biological connection to his deceased son.

However, Iyabo Ojo maintained her resolute stance, asserting that DNA matters are inherently private family affairs and should not be intertwined with the broader quest for justice for Mohbad.

Despite the father’s call for the test, she emphasized that the focal point should remain on uncovering the truth behind the circumstances leading to Mohbad’s tragic end.

The unfolding narrative introduces a compelling dichotomy between private familial concerns and the collective yearning for closure and truth in the wake of Mohbad’s demise.

Iyabo Ojo’s steadfast position prompts a reflection on the delicate balance between personal grief and the public’s demand for transparency, adding layers of complexity to the evolving saga surrounding Mohbad’s tragedy.

As the story continues to captivate public interest, the clash between individual privacy and public scrutiny emerges as a central theme, raising questions about the boundaries that should be respected in the pursuit of justice for a public figure.

The intricate dynamics surrounding Mohbad’s case offer a nuanced exploration of the intersection between celebrity, personal grief, and the broader societal quest for accountability and truth.
