President Bola Tinubu has expressed his belief that he deserves to be recognized in the Guinness World Records due to his past achievements that paved the way for his presidency.
Tinubu highlighted his transformative role in turning Lagos State into Africa’s fifth-largest economy during his eight-year tenure as governor.
Speaking at the 10th German-Nigerian Business Forum in Berlin, Tinubu emphasized his commitment to seeking a place in the Guinness World Records for his accomplishments.
He also disclosed that his ongoing reforms were instrumental in garnering support from Nigerian voters.
Tinubu, drawing attention to his background in the private sector and corporate governance, proudly stated that Lagos State’s economic ascent from zero to prominence was a significant factor in his presidential election.
He asserted his dedication to reforms from the outset of his presidency, emphasizing that if not acknowledged in the Guinness Book of Records, he would strive to secure his place due to the transformative impact of his initiatives.
