I Inherited Serious Liabilities from Buhari – Tinubu Reveals

President Bola Tinubu has asserted that he took on significant liabilities and assets from his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari.

The revelation came during a meeting with Mansur Muhtar, the Vice-President (Country Programs) of the Islamic Development Bank in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, as stated in a release by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale on Tuesday.

Despite acknowledging the challenges posed by these liabilities, Tinubu emphasized his commitment to not make excuses.

He acknowledged the presence of substantial investment opportunities in various sectors and invited smart investors to explore them.

Tinubu acknowledged that access to finance and guarantees could pose challenges in certain cases and viewed the Islamic Development Bank as a critical enabler in overcoming such obstacles.

Referring to previous partnerships with the bank, he expressed the desire to expand and enhance collaboration with a more ambitious and clearer vision.
