Charles Inojie Pays Tribute to Late Sam Loco-Efe, Hails Him as the Most Intelligent Nollywood Actor

Renowned Nigerian actor, Charles Inojie, recently shared heartfelt praises for his late colleague, Sam Loco-Efe, labeling him as “the most intelligent Nollywood actor that ever lived.”

During a conversation with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Inojie marveled at Loco-Efe’s genius, asserting that the legendary thespian was like no other.

He regretfully noted that despite Loco-Efe’s remarkable talents, he did not receive a national honour before his passing.

Inojie expressed, “Uncle Sam (Sam Loco-Efe) was perhaps the most intelligent Nollywood actor that ever lived.

He can be here smoking cigarettes, and people are rehearsing that way, you won’t know that his subconscious mind is where they are rehearsing. He would be correcting you from afar, you won’t even know he is talking to you.”

Inojie continued to highlight Loco-Efe’s exceptional abilities, mentioning how he would read a scene just once when rehearsing with others, yet effortlessly correct his co-stars’ lines.

He emphasized that such a talent was unparalleled and likened Loco-Efe to someone from another planet.

Despite Loco-Efe’s significant contributions to the Nigerian film industry, Inojie expressed disappointment that he did not receive a national honor during his lifetime.

Inojie emphasized the need for posthumous awards to be bestowed upon such exemplary individuals, especially those who, like Loco-Efe, had left an indelible mark on the country’s cultural landscape.

Sam Loco-Efe, a veteran actor, passed away on August 7, 2011, at the age of 65.
